So ready for a forever home.

Sara is a gentle, loving, happy and playful companion. Loves, loves, loves her people and her toys (especially the squeaky ones). She's eager to please, and very responsive to verbal correction (in fact, she's on the sensitive side, so be gentle). Occasionally sunbathes, loves her daily walk. Very intelligent and observant, she'll pick up on lifestyle patterns very quickly. She's quiet in her crate at night and will go into it in the daytime if told, though she'd rather hang out. Gets on wonderfully with our other dogs. While loving, she's usually content to be in the same room with you, she isn't needy. She is good on hard floors, but will need a little more work on stairs and getting into cars.

Getting along with the Italian Greyhound!

Sara loves her toys.

Especially the squeaky ones.

Sara is comfortable on wood floors.

Sara's 1st Week

Sara has spent her 1st week in retirement playing, learning, sleeping, and investigating her new world.

She is a pro at riding in the car. She is still practicing jumping in and out.

Sara has perfected her greeting technique.

Stairs are strange to her but given help and encouragement, up she goes.
She wants to be where people are.

Little Miss Sara found the toys and dog beds faster than any of my other foster hounds.

Sara has the cutest crazy ears! One points forward and one points backwards!

Sara loves to run and play. She gets along with all the dogs.

Here Sara has put her front paws on my bed leaving her hind legs on the floor.
This girl wants to be a snuggler! I made her get down after I took the picture because fosters aren't allow on furniture.

All the new experiences make a very sleepy greyhound.
